Hi, I’m Mark Davies. I am a husband and father of four children and like many people I find I don’t just do one thing or have passions for a single subject.

I love helping people to speak on stage and present better, having sat through too many sleepy presentations and pointless talks. I have organised 4 TEDx events in Chelmsford Essex, I’ve been to a TED event and met Christ Anderson, TED CEO and curator. I have spoken on stage many times both for fun and professionally and have hosted and organised many many speaking events.

For much of my career I have also been a consultant in technology (IT / ICT / Digital or whatever the current nomenclature is). I have worked for many large corporates including IBM, Boeing, British Airways, HP, Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury’s. The last few years has found me helping Local Government organisations and I have been engaged with over 18 different UK local authorities to design, redesign, reorganise, digitise, or in other ways get more from their technology to deliver more for less and to better serve their citizens.

Throughout all of the above I have had the one constant of photography. I started when I was 14 and have not stopped since. I now take photos for fun of family and trips and also take photos at local schools and sports events when requested to do so.
